Apartment Income Investors, Inc. was formed by Michael Chesser in 1994 as a full-service real estate investment company to capitalize on the income returned to investors in multi-family apartments. Since then, Aii has grown to become a multifaceted real estate investment and finance company with projects in 9 states and Mexico. It has consistently delivered profits to its investors in every year of its existence. Aii's acquisition criteria involves identifying investment opportunities that provide a balance of price, quality, steady cash flow, location, risk, growth potential, and rental upsides. Michael Chesser's core philosophy is to find quality investment opportunities that achieve the optimum balance of return and safety; to operate in a manner that preservation of capital is a first priority; to provide debt financing to projects that offer the greatest reward in exchange for a measurable risk; and to return profits to its investors that exceed expectations.
Aii’s current operations include: New Development Projects, Cash Flow Properties, and Fund Management. Aii focuses on properties that provide secure and high-yield returns. The Aii formula for success is simple: find excellent deals, manage acquired properties and distribute profits from rental income and appreciation to its network of Investors.
Aii personally manages your investment. For each offering, Aii forms a company to operate the property and becomes its sole manager. Combined with Aii’s management team’s 45+ years of real estate experience, this operating and managing structure ensures each property, and each investment, will receive the most prudent care.
