Michael D. Chesser, President

Michael D. Chesser is President and Founder of Aii. Mr. Chesser is a California Licensed Certified Public Accountant, who has worked for regional boutique accounting firms specializing in entrepreneurs and wealthy individuals. Mr. Chesser later established his own firm before merging with a larger competitor. During his accounting career, he has assisted businesses of all types in the setting and attainment of financial goals. With 15 years of experience in the public and private accounting arena, he has worked with operators in the real estate, manufacturing, professional services, and restaurant industries, to name a few. He believes that organization, planning, the setting of goals, and consistent progress toward those goals, will ensure the best opportunity for business success.

During his accounting career, Mr. Chesser has assisted many family real estate enterprises in the analysis, financing and tax planning of real estate portfolios. During this time, one investor amassed a portfolio exceeding $120 million, while another company dissolved a $100 million portfolio distributing 20% to a departing Member; the remaining entity later organized as a REIT, with one of the largest portfolios of Beverly Hills commercial property. Mr. Chesser was involved in many other real estate transactions; during this time he developed the concepts and philosophies that now guide Aii.

Mr. Chesser is a graduate of Wichita State University, with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting emphasis. He continues his professional education with the California Society of CPA’s and other organizations as prescribed by the State Board of Accountancy. In addition, Mr. Chesser is a member (or past member) of the American Institute of CPA’s, the California Society of CPA’s, the Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles, the Young President's Organization, the Rotary Club of Santa Monica, the Santa Monica Jaycees, the National Conference for Community and Justice, the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce, and St. Monica’s Catholic Church.

Michael Chesser, CPA has had three successful careers: First, as a CPA practicing for 15 years; Second, as a mortgage professional, closing thousands of loans in the past six years; and Finally, as a real estate investor, currently overseeing a personal and professional portfolio in excess of $250 million of invested capital.

He has been a trusted business advisor to many outstanding corporations, civic organizations and successful individuals in Southern California.

Sean P. Maloney, Vice President

Sean P. Maloney currently serves as the Vice President of Operations and Sales for Aii. His experience was born during his 7 years as a founding member and Business Operations Manager of a mortgage brokerage start-up that grew to become the 3rd largest firm in Los Angeles under his assisted leadership.
